Find Your Feet Charity Hosts Thrilling ‘It’s a Knockout’
Local Teams Compete for a Great Cause
The sun shone brightly over Linwood as local businesses and organisations gathered to participate in the highly anticipated ‘It’s a Knockout’ event in support of the Finding Your Feet charity. The event, which drew in teams from Tesco Linwood, CX Services & Co, Balfour Beatty, Consilium, Action for Children, and BNP Paribas, saw fierce yet friendly competition in a fun-filled day of community spirit.
The 'It’s a Knockout' event offered something for everyone, featuring a range of entertaining and interactive challenges that brought out the best in the competitors. From inflatable obstacle courses to water-based activities, participants embraced the spirit of teamwork and showed their support for the Finding Your Feet charity, which provides vital support to amputees and their families.
Teams from the likes of Tesco Linwood and Balfour Beatty joined forces with others to show that corporate responsibility extends beyond the office. It was a day dedicated not only to fun but also to making a real difference for those in need.
This year's event saw an incredible turnout, as local businesses and organisations came together to raise funds and awareness for the life changing work carried out by Finding Your Feet. The charity's mission is to support individuals living with limb difference by offering emotional, physical and financial assistance.
A spokesperson from Finding Your Feet expressed their gratitude
"We are truly overwhelmed by the generosity and enthusiasm of everyone involved. Events like these are crucial in helping us continue our work supporting amputees and their families across the UK"
As the teams competed in good humour, the focus remained on the overarching goal of raising much needed funds for Finding Your Feet. This support ensures that the charity can continue its life changing work, including providing prosthetics, organising peer support groups, offering fitness and well being programmes tailored to amputees.
